Safe Service Pledge
The measures we put in place to ensure a safe experience when visiting our garages remain in place.
We are open for business as usual and are here to help people who need to make journeys by providing the key products and services that will keep them moving at this critical time. But the way our garage operates has changed. The health and well-being of our colleagues and customers is our top priority, so we are taking steps with our ‘Safe Service Pledge’ to help everyone stay safe.
As our priority is always to keep you and our team safe, we are continuing with these measures so things may still be a little different.
As our priority is always to keep you and our team safe, we are continuing with these measures so things may still be a little different.
What is the Safe Service Pledge:
During the pandemic, we implemented changes to reflect what the government guidelines stated as protocols for Staying COVID-19 Secure, however our pledge goes beyond this to provide you an excellent customer service experience by demonstrating best practice guidelines. We have signed up to the ‘Safe Service Pledge’ to make transparent our health and safety commitment to safeguarding our customers and staff by making the necessary changes to our operations. This creates a mutual understanding to show our customers what to expect from us and ensure that all your needs are met.
Social Distancing Pledge: We have implemented operational practices that adhere to responsible social distancing
Cleaning Pledge: We have in place a thorough and regular cleaning and sanitising protocol for our premises, when dealing with customer vehicles and all key contact points
Safety Kit Pledge: We have the appropriate safety kit and PPE to ensure your safety.
Education Pledge: We have put in place strict protocols for the education of our staff to ensure safety of our customer and colleagues and will continuously update them on all the latest guidance...
and we will continually adapt to the changing circumstances and adhere to all government advice.
Our Safe Service Pledge in detail:
Social Distancing Pledge:
We are being extra vigilant on personal space and exercising social distancing. We’ve optimised personal working space for all staff to ensure a safe distance is kept at all times. To keep our colleagues and customers safe, we will be ensuring that we maintain a 2-metre distance at all times.
Cleaning Pledge:
Our garage continues to be stringent around hygiene and cleaning regimes whether in the garage premises or with the vehicles we carry out work on.
Within our business we have increased our cleaning across the board, particularly for those areas touched regularly by team members and customers, including touch points such as PDQ machines.
Our staff will be hand washing and changing gloves before/after every job.
Before working on or entering any vehicle our staff will; wash & sanitise hands fully and put on nitrile gloves.
Before entering the vehicle, our team will; disinfect and clean the keys fully, clean the car handles.
When entering the vehicle our team will; install seat cover, fully clean the steering wheel, the gear stick, the stalks on the steering wheel and install the floor mat.
After working on the vehicle, we will ensure to fully clean any areas of the vehicle body that were worked on, fully clean the steering wheel, the gear stick, the car door handles, disinfect and clean the keys fully and remove the floormat and the seat cover.
To protect colleagues and customers, we won’t ask customers to sign paperwork - were possible - only accept card payments.
Safety Kit Pledge:
Every member of staff are advocates of the hygiene policy detailed in our Safe Service Pledge.
Our staff will have the correct PPE and safety equipment when interacting with customers or working on their vehicles.
We continuously brief all our staff on the latest company guidance and policies for safeguarding their health.
Education Pledge:
We are committed to supporting the Government and its position in response to the Coronavirus.
Our garage staff have already, in line with government guidance, been listed as key workers. Our frontline staff involved in tyre distribution, vehicle maintenance and repair, MOT testing and other repairs fulfil the criteria of Key Workers and are critical to keeping the road transport network moving.
In return, we ask that you respect our Safe Service Pledge and follow the help and advice given to you by our staff.
The health and well-being of our customers and staff is our top priority so we will continue with our protocols and keep you informed of the latest status.
